McLean excels academically, offering a range of challenging courses with motivational teachers that do their best to support students. However, the school's facilities/resources continue to be subpar, primarily due to student involvement, resulting in less than favorable conditions.

It is a good school, but overcrowded and the administrative office could be improved. Sports are decent, and people are supportive of each other. There are many clubs, classes, and sports to choose from. A little bit of a competitive atmosphere, but overall if you are a dedicated student you will have no problem thriving in this school.

There are lots of different clubs for people of all interests, from STEM to the arts. The facilities and classrooms are pretty old though and are lacking renovation funding.

Mclean High school has few issues that are ongoing. During the 4 years our family has been involved with MH we have seen teachers that are not qualified, teachers who clearly do not care if students understand and perform. However, there are few very strong teachers that needs to be praised and real...
