I am very glad to have gone to McLean High School. The best part of my experience here was definitely the teachers. I made so many connections with my teachers that I know will continue on past graduation. In addition, I enjoyed the extracurricular activities that were offered such as marching band plus the language course, my having taken several of them.

Many of the teachers hired for AP Courses know their material extremely well, and the course are planned out very well. I feel very prepared for AP Exams as well as the rigor I will find in college.

The best parts of my McLean experience were the driven environment and the supportive nature of the teachers. The worst part was probably the facilities/the overcrowdedness.

Mclean High school has few issues that are ongoing. During the 4 years our family has been involved with MH we have seen teachers that are not qualified, teachers who clearly do not care if students understand and perform. However, there are few very strong teachers that needs to be praised and real...
