GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Great staff and faculty. I would like to see more agricultural classes at Meadville High School. This would allow farm kids to relate to others. It would also explain farm to table to city students.

The worst part of my high school career was not being taught important information for tests. I was always a great student but when some teachers failed to teach information in their curriculum I was unable to learn in the way I was meant to.

Overall is average I think. There are some really great teachers who care about students and some not great teachers who don't teach at all. They offer a lot of sports. I wish there were more substitute teachers because right now if your teacher isn't there you have a study hall. I also wish the funding for sports was better. It seems like some sports get a lot of money while others don't get any.

Crawford Central Schools all practice "Ability Grouping" which is a sneeky way of "Tracking" students. If your child is not a straight A student & not competing in the top 10% of his/her class then he/she will not prosper in this type of education system partly because the expectations of these stud...

A party school. Kids are poorly behaved, lots of negative peer pressure. No academic rigor to be found, my child was graded on 1)showing up 2) class participation and 3) homework, whether it was correct or not. Tests could be retaken or points could be added to the score for completing busy work. Pr...

This is an awful high school. Student fights break out continually and the police are called to the school almost daily. Getting the administration to protect students, like I had to do for my son, was impossible. My son also has special needs and the school is ill-equipped to provide services.
