As a part of the Hanover County Public School District, the Home of the Lions boasts many fun activities that get staff, students, and families involved, such as Boosterthon Fun Run, family fitness night, family dinner and dance, art night, reading night, and the STEM fair. This school regularly engages with families at back-to-school nights, field days, and parent-teacher organized fund-raisers. Laurel Meadow aims to inspire students to achieve their fullest potential. With high test scores, Laurel Meadow is ranked in the top 50 percent of Virginia schools. High test scores may be a result of the school’s Math Workshop that is implemented in grades K-5.
