If you're not a student athlete, I'm begging you to steer clear of Melissa Middle School. (now East Cardinal Middle School or ECMS as of 2025) Yes, the education is decent, but just looking at the surface level, you can tell the budget's main focus is sports. They canceled everything on the last day, and spend all their money on sports and nothing else. I di not recommend this school.

Everything is good so far. Teachers are awesome and the quality of education is very good. My daughter loves this school.

Great staff. Specially the career counselors. Helped my kid to progress from GT to IB program. Teachers motivate kids to excel. Electives are exciting and keeping aligned with current trends.
