Memorial Middle School at 12550 Vindon Drive in the Memorial City community serves approximately 1,400 in grades six through eight with an average student-teacher ratio of less than 20-to-1.
The school boasts a stellar science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program with high proficiency in math and science. In addition to its STEM program, the school sponsors a student-led National Junior Honor Society. Academic hopefuls apply in April and accepted NJHS members become official at the start of their eighth-grade year.
Other extracurricular activities students can participate in are the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) – which meets twice monthly – as well as book club and athletics. Athletics to choose from are soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, and football.
Academics and leadership are the school administration’s goals. Their mission is to provide their students with an optimum learning environment to prepare them to compete successfully in a global community.
Memorial Middle School has proudly served in the Spring Branch Independent School District since 1963, with many of its current educators dedicating more than 16 years of service in the community.

I loved it here! The teachers were mostly great. I made a lot of friends. I really enjoyed seeing how dedicated everyone was towards the academics. The school is exceptional academic wise.

Our family has had a fantastic experience at Memorial Middle School. Both of our two boys attend there currently and they really like their teachers, friends and staff. They enjoy being involved in extra curricular activities as well.

I attended this school and it was literally a terrible experience. There was rampant bullying and definitely classism depending on how much money your parents had.
