Berclair Elementary School is located in the Berclair neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. It is a public school within the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district. At the home of the Bears, the vision is to provide “economic justice through education.” Approximately 650 students enroll each academic year in grades ranging Pre-K through 5. With more than 40 teachers on staff, there are about 15 students per classroom. Berclair Elementary earned a rating of 5 out of 5 for Achievement in Math, and a 4 out of 5 for Language Arts on the district’s scorecard system. Thanks to several school partnerships, Berclair Elementary is able to provide students with tutoring during and after school with the help of more than 150 volunteers per year. Tennessee has designated Berclair Elementary as a Tennessee Reward School. Academic growth of students at Berclair is in the top 5% of all public schools in the state. Berclair Elementary also offers an English as a Second Language Program and a gifted program, where students meet twice per week. Since 1952, Berclair Elementary has had a track record for academic success. Today, it continues its mission to “educate students, embrace diversity, strive with high expectations, and teach students to work together.”

Went to register kids and front desk staff are terrible they did not care even about keeping my info private or the others that were in the office , and the had a very judgmental attitude, if this is the front desk I can't imagine how bad is the rest

berclairs teachers are mean to the kids and the principle does nothing to help. they will not meet with you. they do nothing to help children who have learning problems. they are mean to kids with adhd. ala and all this school is horable! they do not let parents get involved for any reason at all.
