This is a very hard working school that uses all the resources they have to make sure students can achieve. The school fights to stay open while surrounded by schools that are in the bottom 5%. Westside is not. It is a bright spot in Frayser.

As a teacher at Westside I really appreciate the school pride that we try and instill in the students and the work we do on the weekends with our kids and after school. Westside is a school of believers. The students believe they can achieve and work hard to be excellent.
