This school is the best kept secret on the Peninsula. The kids are kind, the teachers really care and go above and beyond for the students, and most important, kids are happy here. They do what high school should do- facilitate transition to adulthood! These kids are ready to fly by the time they graduate, and they feel optimistic and good about themselves and their skills! What a great gift! Bravo!!!

This school provides a regular high school experience that focuses on the individual student in a small class setting. It was transformative for my son whose self-esteem was at a low ebb coming out of junior high. He blossomed here and thanks to the amazing counselor found a great college and went on to land a job in a top accounting firm.

While the school is very invested in us, they give room to grow. This school has a "credit check" system, which helps for students who do not understand the homework. We regularly meet with a teacher who asks us questions about our school life and makes sure that each individual student is keeping up with his/her work.

Mid-Peninsula High failed to respond appropriately to a serious bullying episode. We have learned of several similar situations at the school in recent history. While there are some wonderful teachers, the culture and values of the school leave a great deal to be desired.

Mid Pen is an amazing place. They really do have late starts to encourage more sleep for teens! (The only school in the Bay Area actually walking the walk on this!) They have amazing drama and art programs! Sports are open to all and fun! There are endless opportunities for developing all kinds of i...

Stellar. 10/10. I never thought I would take the risks and meet the challenges and I have been able to succeed in each endeavor.
