My child THRIVED at Mid-Pen and is now doing well at an elite liberal arts college back east. The teachers are personally invested in the success of their students, know how to engage them, push them, and when to back off. The kind and supportive environment allows kids to blossom, find their passion and become internally driven. Mid-Pen is a hidden gem on the peninsula.

Very small school with a wide range of students. You are able to go above and beyond if you are motivated, but few are. The sports are inclusive and generally most students are welcoming and kind.

Mid-Peninsula High failed to respond appropriately to a serious bullying episode. We have learned of several similar situations at the school in recent history. While there are some wonderful teachers, the culture and values of the school leave a great deal to be desired.

Mid Pen is an amazing place. They really do have late starts to encourage more sleep for teens! (The only school in the Bay Area actually walking the walk on this!)
