I love the massive amount of variety that the classes have to offer, as well as the academic support that a lot of our teachers give. While there are diversity and football team problems, other sports and the arts programs do very well state-wide. The band is an especially large and historic part of school culture.

Pros: Most of the teachers (especially the English teachers) are very helpful and classes are well taught, the staff as well. The school cares about what most students have to say (imo) and provide opportunities for anyone who needs it. Cons: Math teachers (Alg2/Precalc) are bad at teaching, lots of kids I know who never had issues with learning math have dropped classes and take them outside of school. not diverse at all; 70% white, 29% Asian, and 1% other. Kids are racist. The academic pressure is high depending on who your kid hangs out with. Fair warning, lots of 14 year olds are already drinking and using drugs regularly. in the bathrooms its common to see substance abuse (vaping), it's not that surprising anymore
