Gem Prep Online is an amazing school. It is definitely a school for kids who will take charge of their own learning and stay on top of their school work. It's harder for elementary school kids and their parents because those kids are so little that the parents have to be the ones keeping them on top of schoolwork and holding them accountable. The parents of younger students also have to be like a second teacher to the kids which can be difficult for them. GPO lets kids take dual credit classes through IDLA and through colleges which helps students get a head start and that is amazing.

I have had some great teachers and help when I as there but math was a big struggle. No one quite knew how to help me and so I had to re-take math over the summer last year and that teacher was very helpful and accommodating.
