Gem Prep Online is a wonderful school that gives freedom to families while providing them with a content rich curriculum that guides students and families through grade level material. It is a great fit for families who want to be involved in their child's education and have a licensed teacher to help add support and guidance. Students enjoy live sessions with the teacher where they can in moment feedback and have a chance to collaborate with their peers. Students really gain a sense of ownership of their learning with the Gem Prep Online model and learn how to manage their time.

I would like for there to be less hard work involved with the parents. The science my kid does is impossible. They overuse models too much.

Gem Prep Online is an amazing school. It is definitely a school for kids who will take charge of their own learning and stay on top of their school work. It's harder for elementary school kids and their parents because those kids are so little that the parents have to be the ones keeping them on top of schoolwork and holding them accountable. The parents of younger students also have to be like a second teacher to the kids which can be difficult for them. GPO lets kids take dual credit classes through IDLA and through colleges which helps students get a head start and that is amazing.

I mean, this school has GOT to stop using models on literally everything. Earlier my daughter was doing Zearn, it needed her to do a model for 2 * 5.
