This school could repurpose many aspects of what they have into better directions. The turnover rate for this school is very big compared to neighboring schools. As students need help, teachers need help too. They are undermined and underappreciated for who they are and what they do and I feel that they could be treated better by admin and their peers.

Meridian High School is a great school. I am a senior and have been going here for three years now. The teachers are simply fantastic and treat their job and students with respect while also giving an outstanding education. Sports here is great with good coaches and a great football team. CTE classes are good and truly do prepare you for your future.

I loved the theatre program. The teachers are amazing. They are currently doing new construction including a brand new auditorium. Overall there are many clubs and opportunities, students even bus in from other schools to take courses not offered at other schools.

This school may not have the highest rating for "college readiness" but Meridian has many more career/certification pathways that they offer. Career Technical Education classes- a place where many students thrive.

So far I have had one graduate from this school and 2 more are right behind. Other than the one teacher, my kids have all had great experiences here. This school has come a long way and you can feel confident in sending your children here.

I really don't agree with their rule, "no hats or hoods". I mean, come on, it's cold even inside.
