O’Connor Elementary School is a public school located within the Central Mesa East neighborhood. As part of the Mesa Public Schools District, the school serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It was named after Sandra Day O’Connor, the first woman to become a Supreme Court Justice. The school mascot is the Ocelot.
At O’Connor Elementary School, students have consistently met and exceeded state standards for test scores and overall academic excellence. With smaller class sizes and a dedicated staff of teachers, O’Connor Elementary creates an engaging environment that can cater various learning styles and capabilities.

O’Connor Elementary is amazing! I’ve had five of my six kids in O’Connor and all are or have excelled there. Every teacher my kids have had os thoughtful, caring and concerned for their well-being. The principal is terrible. This used to be a 9/10 school then Tinich took over and everything declined. My kids excitement for school and learning has also declined. She is rude and dismissive to parents. Every teacher has been excellent though.
