My favorite part of attending red mountain high school was the teachers, most teachers seemed like they cared about what they were teaching with a few outliers. My least favorite part of my experience at red mountain high school was my peers as many of them would be disruptive in class and didn't take classes seriously and were instead on their phones.

Red Mountain offers many excellent academic opportunities and there are a wide variety of clubs and sports for everyone. I have had some truly amazing teachers but I have noticed that there is a great divide between the general education and the advanced classes. There is no in between. You're either in AP with a super heavy workload and fast pace moving class or a class where you will not learn anything and are spoon fed a pass for the class. For example I tried taking APUSH but history is my weakest subject I quickly knew I would not be able to keep up with the class so I ended up becoming a TA for the class. Now I am taking regular American History and at most I have to write a sentence that is given to me word for word. I would like to have the option to take honors but I was stuck with the choice between AP or regular.

The best parts of Red Mountain are the performing arts and College readiness. The wide variety of options for the performing arts makes it a lot more fun. I enjoy Choir and Theater the most. They are the reason for who I am today, and they just have a strong community.

My experience with this school has been extremely poor since my second of 5 children attended! They are not very concerned with student safety until blood shed! You can call and express your concerns or even show up and express them, their first course of action is a no contact contract!! WHAT is a...

Been around the school for a few years since the grand kids have been going to Red Mtn High. 2023 graduation was very disappointing as far as being able to hear anything at all. During football season Tempe can hear the calls from the game and all the announcements. Tonight, there's a bunch of small...

We have been fairly happy with the school. I have two very different teens going there. Their needs and interests are being met by the school. We have only had a less than great experience with one educator. Even that one is okay. Everyone else has been great.
