GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked the environment all the students care about how well the fine arts and sports team do and our school spirit was amazing when I was there. I hope they change academics to prepare students for college more than they already do

What I appreciate at Mexico High School is that they have multiple dual credit classes to help prepare students for getting a head start in college. Also, the school has several extracurricular activities. One topic that could be suggested is that Mexico High School have more Tyrone Lue Days to help serve the community. Those days were fun and appreciated by those who are/were helped.

Mexico High School has a great community feel in a small town and a variety of course offerings. However, the school district needs to work to hire better teachers that care, put forth a lot of effort, and are highly knowledgeable.

The staff is hard to keep and I had brand new, fresh out of college teachers both years which caused me to struggle because of the lack of classroom dis...
