Southside is a great school. Teachers are dedicated and devoted to the children. Academics are very good. Southside is an A school and has been for several years. It's in walking distance to all members of their school district, they are located in the irban core and they are the only public school in the area. It's a bilingual school and has a museum magnet program.

This school feels like a factory. I can't speak for all teachers since we just moved here, but I will say it does not feel like they care about the kids because they can't; there are too many.
