the best experience iv had at that school is probably being on the collage trip out of town. as far as the worst i'm not too sure what that would be. The main thing I would like to change is the methods used to getting students engaged in school activities

Young Men's Preparatory Academy is a leadership school based in the heart of Wynwood a community in Miami-Dade County. The schools curriculum aims to prepare students for college and university. As a student myself presented me with many oppurtunities and gave me plenty of preparation for college. I was even allowed to attend a local institution Miami Dade College full time my senior yearwhich not allowed prepared me for college but get glimpse into the college experience.

Young Men's Preparatory Academy. This school has filled the past 7 years with both doubt and joy. I didn't knew any English when I first arrived at that school. I was placed into ESOL, with the greatest teachers. Mr Baeza, and Ms. Sierra. They thought me English like no other teacher would. I didn't feel ready for college, or prepared mentally until I got to YMPA. Now, I am a Posse Miami winner for Franklin & Marshall College. This school will have you ready and prepared for anything.

I believe there are a lot of teachers who care; however, a handful of the bad apples spoil the good ones. Ms. Cabanas in the office is great. She is always willing to assist when I have a question regarding anything non-academic.
