Young Women's Preparatory Academy is a great school its small enough to make you feel cozy like your being nurtured personally instead of me on of many. and you get to interact with the younger kids when you get to high school. a downside is that this close space will make you feel sheltered.

Great administration and dedicated teachers. Strong focus on academics and college preparation. Wish they had more space for outdoor recreation. Decent amount of after school activities for a small school. I like that it's all girls to help keep kids focused. School counselor really helped my daughter when she needed it. I think its a gem of a school. Our daughter moved here from a well known private school here in Miami and ironically the academics at YWPA were much more challenging and YWPA teachers were much more sincerely dedicated to the kids (like offering after school tutoring etc).
