Wonderful school - lots of opportunities to get involved and meet staff & families. Easy to reach staff. Definitely feel supported as a parent. The students are very respectful, reflective of the academic & social environment at Whittier.

Whittier is a great community! Teachers are caring, not just of their own students, but all students. Despite being a small student population, there are plenty of sports opportunities. The only downside is Whittier goes to 5th grade. We wish we could have our son at Whittier through 8th grade.

Joining Whittier was one of our best choices for our children's growing learning process. Whittier impressed us IMMEDIATELY. Peggy Mystrow, Principal, is the best Leader for John Whittier Elementary School. I was soo impressed how Mrs. Mystrow knew every kid's name. It did not take long to see why,...
