GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's was good honestly even though it's a lot of everything it's still the best experience that I could've ever asked for out of an high school experience

High school has been a new experience to me even though my first year was somewhat similar to 8th grade. At first I thought that I would have to figure stuff out on my own, but that was not what happened. I was shown around the school, recommended to ask the adults in school for help, etc. I was given many chances to redo or do my work when I was late. It was clear that the school was ready for someone like me. I don't really have any problems in my school. Thank you for reading my review.

When I moved my family of 3 children here to Minneapolis from Scotland back in 2015 my oldest was going into 9th grade with my other in 7th and 4th, we visited our community school of Thomas Edison. The community was absolutely welcoming. Now I have two kids graduated from there and having gone to their dream colleges with Edison's prep we couldn't have asked for more. I now have a senior and she is very exited to see what comes in the future but sad to leave behind her history on the tennis team, and her participation in band. Great school 10/10 would recommend.
