The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I used to work on campus for an after school program. The staff were easy to communicate with & we'd have so much fun when some of my students teachers would drop by just to say hi or give one of my kiddos homework or projects they forgot. Everyone on campus is there for the kids & their families. We would have holiday boxes where food was collected & handed out to families in need. It's a small community so all faculty as well as parents have known of each other through the years. The principal was at various other schools throughout the district & he changed once he moved here. If I still had young kiddos I would drive them 20mins to & from school each day to make sure they were at MVES. This school is lucky to have him.

One went on to get her masters at MIT. 3 of the 4 are now entrepreneurs who own and operate their own businesses. The 4th, is the lead manager of a business he loves!A small neighbo...
