Mount Vernon is part of a very small town. Because of this, there is little diversity. That's my biggest complaint. But there are a lot of opportunities, and resources for music and art.

Mount Vernon high school is a great place to go to school. There is excellence in academics, arts, athletics. Mount Vernon high schools committed to being one of the best schools and it definitely shows. The only bad thing about Mount Vernon is it's lack of diversity.

I enjoyed making lots of friends and partictipating in athletics. The teachers are very helpful and love talking to students. There is a wide variety of classes to take, so you have the ability to tailor your schedule towards your personal goals and interests. Mount Vernon itself is an extremely welcoming and safe community where anyone can fit in.
