Mount Vernon high school is a great place to go to school. There is excellence in academics, arts, athletics. Mount Vernon high schools committed to being one of the best schools and it definitely shows. The only bad thing about Mount Vernon is it's lack of diversity.

I really enjoyed how much my teachers were willing and able to put in the extra time to help me succeed. I wish the grading system hadn't changed to EBR because it is really confusing and varies from each teacher. But overall I really liked and enjoyed my time there.

I really enjoyed the small, close-knit environment. It allows all students to be attended to and gives them opportunities to become well-rounded.

I agree and disagree. The class sizes are a very good sizes for learning. There does need to be more language options and more electives for a broader set of students. But the principal is very good. He is very active with the students and gets to know all of their names before the end of their Fres...
