GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The new principal of Monta Loma, Mrs. Jinguji, is a warm, caring, intelligent leader and I am so thankful that she stepped in to lead this school. ML has been great for my family. I have a 1st and 3rd grader there. ML is a fantastic place to learn because of its rich diversity. Being surrounded by classmates from different backgrounds exposes you to a wider range of cultures, perspectives, and experiences. This mix has fostered my own empathy...

This school is fantastic. We have been sending our 5-year old here for a year and he has been welcomed by both his Kindergarten class and by the older kids at the school. This school has absolutely no interest in your child's mental health. Bullying is rampant and nobody cares, and the school remained closed for the entire pandemic. Teachers just play videos and do not care at all about ensuring student socialization or interaction. Abysmal, horrible school.
