Mundelein does not have a culture of school participation. For being a large school the percentage of students that participate is on the smaller side. I would like to see Mundelein gain more school spirit and participation.

I have had a pretty positive experience so far at Mundelein, however I haven't gotten to Senior year yet so I will have to come back to all the reviews once I've completed my last year here.

MHS sports, clubs, academic opportunity, diversity, and music programs are excellent. There are programs to help students that are struggling as well as opportunities for students that are excelling. Parent involvement is high. There are some issues with their aging facilities and some resources are no longer appropriate for the school size and its prominence.

MHS was an amazing experience for all three of my children. They all excelled in different areas both academically, socially and in extra curricular. The opportunities to be involved were endless. Highly recommend this diverse high school experience.

Both of my children graduated, went on to accredited colleges and received a few degrees. One is a successful engineer and the other is studying to be a doctor. Had two kids go through Mundelein HS in the past few years. Both have successfully transitioned to high ranking 4 year colleges.Most of the teachers were great. The band experience is AMAZING! Best school in the North suburbs. Has an exceptional music program that consistently achieves national and state level recognition. Mundelein high school is possibly the best high school for a student to explore and succeed in all their musical interests.
