The best part of my experience at Munster High School has been the opportunity to expand my horizons and meet new friends. The worst part of my experience at Munster High School has been being able to manage a heavy workload on top of activities and clubs. I would like to see more resources available at Munster High School, allowing students to gain access to help when troubled by an outside source out of school or in it.

It is a small but very academically challenging school. We have a ton of Advanced, Honors and AP classes to choose from. We also have a lot of extracurriculars, clubs and sports that can participate in. The infrastructure is decent and most teachers are quie good. Lot of kids end up going to top schools.

Munster High School has a lot of amazing teachers who have helped me in more ways than my education. However, it's not a perfect school just like every other. Munster does well to provide resources and opportunities for students.

The after school activities and sports really keep the kids busy and out of trouble! They have many after school groups, there is something for everyone. The teachers are great at communicating to the parents if its needed. The classes offered are wonderful. My children are doing great in AP classes...

I have raised two kids in the Munster schools (over 20 + years) and can say that the teachers, while they can be tough on the kids, they really DO care about their sucess both in their personal and professional lives. After extensive research on Northwest Indiana area schools, we decided higher housing prices and taxes were well worth being in this school district. Amazing education and athletics programs paired with caring teachers/staff. If you want an outstanding public school look no further than Munster.
