Oakland High School shaped my perception of college. I enjoyed going to the games and actually being involved in the game by being a cheerleader.

I am currently a student at Oakland High School and the best parts about the schools are that they will prepare you for college and the worst is that there are a lot of fights and the administration is do much to nothing to stop bullying.

Oakland has many excellent and caring teachers. As parents, we have been very impressed by OHS. My daughter has had a wonderful experience so far. A variety of classes are offered ranging from IB to standard level.

If your student if part of the gifted or special Ed programs, this school will be one of their best options. This school’s staff is terrible. Every teacher I have encountered is rude. The students are rowdy and suffer no consequences when they bully or fight other students. Can’t wait to move out of their zoned area
