I was very involved with sports and clubs at the school but did not feel like I was prepped extremely well for college. Advisors weren't very helpful, but my teachers were extremely helpful and they helped a lot when I was getting overwhelmed with decision making/time management

Overall, I have enjoyed my experience at St. James High School. I have been able to take classes that will prepare me for college while also being able to engage in interests and hobbies of mine that take dedication and hard work. I enjoy the sports atmosphere and the interactive staff that educates the students. I wish high-functioning wifi was available for students to be able to easily connect and create a better social environment.

St James was a very safe and helpful school for me, I joined the JROTC program and St James has one of the best programs in Horry County. I was fortunate enough to make it as the Battalion Commander in my unit and it gave me countless opportunities to help out my community and serve others.

This school is horrible. A lot of the teachers are passive aggressive towards the kids. The staff does absolutely nothing about bullying.
