My overall experience as a former student at Socastee was great. Most teachers were kind, informed and helpful, and I learned much from my time there.

Socastee Hight School is a good school. Socastee has good teachers who care about the well being and success of the students. The teachers help the student feel welcomed and how to learn in there own way. A bad part of Socastee is there tardy policy. After a student gets 3 tardies, they get detention no exceptions. Something I would change about Socastee would be a less Strick tardy policy.

The best parts of my experience include the clubs and honor societies, as well as the fun activities that the school offers. The school has a wide range of clubs, such as Key Club and Student Council, and honor societies like Mu Alpha Theta and Rho Kappa. On the other hand, the school is not the safest. Sometimes fights will happen, and even the teachers who get involved will get injured. Also, some teachers have a harder learning style than others, which can really bring down someone's GPA.

Kids will be kids and if there’s a problem a kid should addressing it, so don’t base the school on other kids behavior. Socastee provides lots of opportunities for my studen...

There are teachers that get away with not teaching. The principal is a bully himself so its no wonder that he allows it to go on with the students. In-effective administration.

She decided upon honors classes and I have been extremely happy with the teachers. Anytime I had an question or concern, I emailed the...
