Hull-Jackson is part of the Metro Nashville Public School District and is located on the north side of Germantown. The school includes pre-primary, lower elementary and upper elementary classes that teach students through the Montessori philosophy, an individualized learning format that emphasizes self-expression and engagement. Hull-Jackson implements multi-age classrooms for all of its students. This structure helps children to learn from one another, make friends across grades and instills a sense of collaboration.
The school’s instruction is customized to complement each child’s strengths and challenges. Hull Jackson’s student-teacher ratio is 13-to-1, and most teachers bring more than three years of experience with them into the classroom.
Outside of the classroom, students can choose to join one of eight clubs offered at the school, or they can participate in intramural sports. To support both students and parents, Hull-Jackson provides before and after-school care through the YMCA, tutoring and social and emotional learning.
