There has been a lot of changes happening in my school in the most recent years. They always try to make things better no matter what we go through. New teachers, new principles every year, its all to make the school a better place and to make sure the kids who go there are safe and sound.

KIPP is what you make of it. The administration changes a lot and the school is not very stable making it possible for students to run the school in a sense. KIPP does a good job preparing for college and can foster lots of leadership

I have attended Kipp Nashville Collegiate High School since freshman year. Since then my view on this school have changed. Before coming to Kipp I had heard some negative thoughts and people recommending that I don't go. But I also heard some good things about Kipp like the academics and the anti fighting environment that the teachers and facility make. Some of these things were true and some not true . To start of the good things that I saw in Kipp was the overall welcoming environment , I found my group of friends within the starting weeks of the school and have had those friends and more since. I got my first friend because of one of the facility members that Heard about one for my interest and found the opportunity to allow us to get to know one another. Another good takeaway from Kipp is the amount of encouragement the teachers give. All the teachers want us to succeed even if it sometimes might not seem like it. One bad take away would have to be the lack of resources.

KIpp teachers are adamant about each student excelling. The students are held to a high standard of excellence. Although students have a lot of work, they are given opportunities to get assistance directly from teachers. The help comes in the form of tutoring, phone calls during homework times, onli...
