GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall a pretty solid school. It depends on the classes you take and the people you surround yourself with. If you are with the more advanced students then you'll have a better time and feel more prepared.

I was personally new to the district for my freshman year of high school but I believe if you know how to stay in the right crowds then you are able to see all the great aspects it has to offer.

The teachers are kind. The students don't put in much effort to pursue higher education or to learn new things, which is is own problem except that the teachers don't do much to enforce learning. The older teachers have very bland lessons that aren't as engaging. The clubs are very sweet and there's a lot of engagement. Programs and aid etc are not promoted. Math is enforced for four years with minimal help to those who don't do good in the area.

The admins only cares about themselves, the teen years are the last people they care. The success for the education and careers are only smoke promess.

Sweetwater High School. This school's pride and tradition runs deep, founded in 1920 (almost 100 years old!) and the second oldest school in the San Diego County (second only to San Diego High in downtown). Sweetwater High School is the heart of National City and whether people stayed in town or mov...
