GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My best part of attending Ness City High School would be the friends I have made along the way and how close everyone is because it is such a small community and everyone is there for you. I wouldn't say that there are worse things at Ness City High School but maybe some downfalls being such a small school that it is hard to find teachers to come to Ness City and teach. I would like to see change in the amount of teachers and see the numbers rise so that Ness City is able to offer more classes.

Ness City is a small public high school. I moved to it before high school and it was one of the most welcoming schools I had ever experienced. Sports are a big priority at the school which indirectly increases grades within the student body. The teachers are always eager to work with and help students when needed. This school has a big factor within its community meaning that it is very tight-knit. Thankful to ever be a part of Ness City High School.
