I did not like the school that much their was not lots of diversity the majority of the school was white with only a few black kids and only two black teachers the teachers were very disrespectful to me when I went to the school from 4th to 8th grade and they always single out one other teacher because all of the students loved her they excluded her from our last field trip to disney and many other trips from what I have heard they always judge her at meetings and I dont like it I think that these following teachers should be fired: Eden Stein, Ms Toni and Ms Behn I reccomend avoiding them.

My son arrived at the school in 2nd grade. He did not know any English as a native Spanish speaker. He was assigned a teacher and additional instructional time and in only a few months he was speaking English and participating just fine in class. The next year he scored among the highest in English...

Excellence in the performance of the teachers and administrators affects the students' academic and behavioral performance. The involvement of parents also is a key factor in the well being of the school.

A majority white school in a minority white city located in the most affluent neighborhood in the city. It's got major issues. We had a very poor experience at Worthington Hooker and swiftly withdrew our child. Regarded as the top public school in New Haven, we expected a warm and supportive atmosphere. Instead what we found is a cold institutional atmosphere with a bully-principal. While waiting in the office various times...
