The school has a policy that when students live there that they are either getting employed, going into the military or that they are going on to higher education.

My personal experience was okay, it wasn't great but it wasn't horrible. I got a good and quality education with teachers who put effort into their jobs. Unfortunately I was into arts, and in this school the arts is a very overlooked program. Compared to sports, the focus put on the arts and opportunities that arise from the arts programs is abysmal.

New Kent High School has so far been a great school for my family and I. The teachers, administration and students all come together as one to make this school such a great place to learn.

Because of the illegal substance abuse, if I had any other HS option we would probably take it but unfortunately since we live in New Kent, we are stuck with no other options than NKHS.
