New Smyrna Beach High school has amazing academics... if this were the only criteria, it would be amazing, however, the school is so horribly not diverse, most of the student body is racist and homophobic, making this an unsafe environment for people who aren't white or straight.

Pretty average high school. I have seen quite a few fights, but the campus has litter scattered around frequently. My complaints are more about the student body than the staff.

Overall, the school has done a good job in providing for my education. It is clean, fairly safe and has a great athletic program.

The last few years this school has gotten more violent and bullying rampant. Disappointed that faculty and staff here has started to fail our children in this manor. Either fire the ones not following policy or let this school increasingly get worse
