GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The college academy is a not so bad school. The teachers are good because they care about the students getting the work done and they make sure they are pushing us to get out of the building and earn our diplomas but the school is not as focused on college readiness and preparing us for the future because they are more worried about their graduation rates going up as a high school. The student diversity is very poor in that school the longer I stayed in that school I realized I was 1 out the 12 black kids in my school. The activities in the school is non existent we have no fun in that school. The students are disrespectful and need to be educated beyond high school so they can be set up for a successful future and that's the reason The college academy gets a poor rate because although we have good teachers and learn everyday like we are suppose to it doesn't take away from the fact that we are only educated pass a certain point for our futures.

It is an amazing school. Attending this school is the best thing i've ever done in my life. This school prepares you for college and life out in the real world. The teachers genuinely care and the community of TCA is extremely generous. The experience of learning at TCA is the best option. If you want you child to be successful, virtuous, and well rounded, send him to TCA.
