GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers are generally helpful, and classes were rather easy. The workload varied, but was usually manageable. However the bathrooms do have a reputation of being filthy and the food has gotten worse after the budget cuts.

Amazing experience, with incredible college outcomes for such a small school. The PTA is vital to the school's success, proof that there is no substitute for parental involvement. Administration and communication were great; teachers almost uniformly excellent. We'll miss this place.

Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a great place to learn and grow. I've enjoyed my 4 years with ElRo both online and in person.

I wish more parents were involved. I think when the school opened up to the 5 boroughs, there is a little loss of parent invol...

This school is complete TRASH. DO NOT GO HERE. The students misbehave everyday, the bathrooms are never clean, and the teachers do not help anyone.

This is a highly selective school. The students are hardworking and talented. The teaching staff is wonderful. Standards are high and the school is rigorous, but NOT competitive. The students and teachers support each other and collaborate well. I adore this school. My son graduated from ElRo in 201...

I graduated from this school and it was an amazing experience. Perfect amount of work to get me prepared for College. I attended the University of Michigan and thought that Elro did an excellent job preparing me. Keep it up. DGarson
