It's a good school. However, the course work is rigorous as most of the time it feels like you are teaching yourself the material.

Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a great place to be. The academics are rigorous and challenging, and the teachers and counselors often push and encourage you to go further with your learning. If you are the kind of student who wants to take many APs and go well beyond your supposed limits academically, in a small tight knit environment, this is the place to be.

A first rate education with excellent communication from teachers and administrators. I'm grateful that my son was lucky enough to get into this very special school.

my daughter was hospitalized after being bullied in this school. Support: non existent. Wasting of potential. I would rename it Karen Roosevelt. So much for meritocracy and public education. Shame on you all.

I wish more parents were involved. I think when the school opened up to the 5 boroughs, there is a little loss of parent invol...

This school is complete TRASH. DO NOT GO HERE. The students misbehave everyday, the bathrooms are never clean, and the teachers do not help anyone.

This is a highly selective school. The students are hardworking and talented. The teaching staff is wonderful. Standards are high and the school is rigorous, but NOT competitive. The students and teachers support each other and collaborate well. I adore this school. My son graduated from ElRo in 201...
