Starting high school was hard but at Gramercy Arts High School there was an event that took place 2 weeks before school started that invited freshmen to go to meet teachers and others to get somewhat used to the school. Going to this made me less nervous and feel better about starting high school. So far all the teachers I have met are very respectful and supportive. This school has been very welcoming and very open to many things. The only thing that has bothered me is the fact that the school is on the 7th floor and can be very tiring.

I enjoyed the relationships I was able to build with some of the staff members. I'm glad they made me feel comfortable.

I have experienced a lot during the last years enrolled at this school both positive and negative. The good outweighs the bad since I have met many people who brought greatness to my life and learned so much. There are many events held at my school that make it enjoyable like the plays, school dances, talent shows, art showcases, and award ceremonies. The school's art category is fantastic as it allows students to experience different art forms like animation, graphic design, and introduction to art. They each showed me what I enjoy in art and what I don't, which helped me decide what I want to do. Overall the school is excellent and enjoyable, though small, a wonderful place to be.
