When I was in fifth grade I had an option to choose a high school to go to. All I heard about Dr. Sun Yat Sen Middle School was that it was bad because of fights. It wasn't my first choice at the time until my parents found out that other "good" middle schools that I was thinking about going were in a "dangerous" neighborhood. At the time I had other friends who were in the school so I said "Why Not" and chose it as my first choice. After three years in the school, I heard a lot. Everything was so perfect because it had an afterschool program YMCA that prepared me for college and high school. When I was in YMCA since 6th grade and in 7th grade, a new program in YMCA was created to help kids with the SHSAT. I went to the program and it was everyday afterschool and even the summer following it. I feel like this school prepared me a lot.

this school is just sad. there shouldn't be no reason why i'm crying myself to sleep each night, dreading to go to school.

This is a great school with caring staff and interactive learning. The students enjoy recess and project based learning. This school can improve in having more after school activities and sports.

I am a student of the school. The school is safe and I love the teachers, counselors, and staffs. This school is the best and is like a second home.

This school Has very good technology. Everyone has a laptop to use in every subject class. And this school challenges the students that goes here, and will help there future.
