We had two children attend PS234 from K through 3rd grade (we ended up then relocating out of Tribeca). The staff is incredibly hard working and the parental community involvement is top notch. The school has beautiful facilities and fairly strong teachers. It can just feel a little big. Since it's the default option for the neighborhood, the parents aren't as consistently engaged as they are at some of the other schools. The PTA is very welcoming.
