It's a clean school focused on learning and athletes definitely a small town vibe. I like it a lot. Not a whole lot of activity's but the ones that are there are pretty great

Good selection of college credit classes, some very caring teachers. Too much emphasis on sports--not enough on the arts or high interest electives.

To me, the best thing about Newell-Fonda is the culture that surrounds our school. Since everyone is in the same building, there are a plethora of chances to talk to everyone. It's one of the only schools I know where a 1st grader can have the confidence to come up and talk to a senior about what they're going to do this weekend. They have lots of technological advances, and there are all types of students. The only thing I would change would be making a culture where all the teachers want you to succeed instead of just a select few.
