My experience at Sangamon Valley was a great one. When I went there, the teachers were always friendly, and classes, though challenging, were rewarding. Though I am not sure if it is the case now, it was a good small, public school. The building itself needs updating a lot, though. Many rooms have broken tiles and leaking roofs. The building itself is well over 50 years old, and while many surrounding towns have updated buildings, this one is old and starting to fall apart.

I love the teachers at my school. They are great at making sure each and every student has an equal chance of learning. They will always offer one-on-one help to anyone who needs it. Without them, I would not be where I am today.

Great school with a strong staff who instill a core curriculum to help students succeed in college or in the community. A small town feel where the students feel they are liked and belong.
