Administration at upper level is clueless to what todays students are experiencing. They don't listen to students, parents or teachers. Dictator with huge ego. I don't think my private school education is any better than the public school advance courses offer. Public school has more "interest" classes. Only good thing about this school is smaller means safer, smaller also means too woke

Norfolk Collegiate is a wonderful school if the student does not need any additional assistance. Otherwise if the student has a learning disability, or is simply struggling in a subject, do not expect to receive any help from staff or teachers.

I've only ever been to the upper school, and it's very small, which can be rough at times, but overall I've had a great experience. Maybe I've gotten lucky, but my teachers have all been great, and I feel very prepared for college. It's a very laid-back, open community, which has been super nice. If you come in during choice time or morning break, you'll see kids just hanging out in the hallways and seniors sprawled out on the couches in the front lobby, which I think is really cool coming from public school where you basically have to be in a class at all times. Despite personal issues, I've been pretty happy here and I don't think I would have thrived more anywhere else.

My experience has been nothing but wonderful transitioning into Collegiate. The staff are kind and always open when I have questions asked about what is going on inside the classroom and hallways. Lots of fun and engaging community events for parents to meet others that may be new to the area.

As an Alumni who attended all 12 years and a parent of two kids who have attended since kindergarten (11 and 9 years), we use to love and be heavily involved with this school, however sadly the school has lost its way in the past five years or so and the administration at the upper school is incompe...
