West is a great high school that prepares students for life after high school whether college bound, trades, or even military and entrepreneurship. Classes are rigorous but the faculty are there to guide students and help them achieve as high as they want to go. The extra curricular options are plentiful from student groups, music, drama, sports, and school government. There is always something for you to fit in with.

West is a pretty good school. There are a decent amount of artsy classes and AP's that most smaller schools dont have.

I had some brilliant teachers, including the theatre teacher & director of the fall play who I ultimately credit for my current success studying theatre in college. I overall had really great teachers, and great coaches on the speech team. The main drawback of my hs experience is that 1.5 years of it was online, which I feel left me unprepared for the pace at which I have to work now

Normal Community West worked with us when we moved from out of state. The counselors are great and the entire teaching staff got to accommodate us and our kids and guide us through the difficult (during the pandemic) transition!
