West is a great high school that prepares students for life after high school whether college bound, trades, or even military and entrepreneurship. Classes are rigorous but the faculty are there to guide students and help them achieve as high as they want to go. The extra curricular options are plentiful from student groups, music, drama, sports, and school government. There is always something for you to fit in with.

The best parts about my experience was that I got to learn more, I got to gain more experiences. I do not believe that anything needs to change except for some teachers attitude. Sometimes I have a class on the other side of the building and the teachers are strict with getting to class on time.

I would like to see more teachers checking in with their students at least once a week to make sure that they are feeling good and comfortable in the school

Normal Community West worked with us when we moved from out of state. The counselors are great and the entire teaching staff got to accommodate us and our kids and guide us through the difficult (during the pandemic) transition!
