Buford Road Christian Academy prides itself in delivering a private school education at a budget-friendly cost. The academy is centrally located near the village of Bon Air on Buford Road. The faith-based school creates a culture committed to changing lives and teaching students to serve their community.
The academy teaches children in kindergarten through 12th grade, with smaller classes being one of the reasons for the school's success. Buford Road Christian teaches both Abeka, a biblically based curriculum, and traditional classroom topics in math and English. Religion classes also play a part in daily instruction.
Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities at Buford Academy. Basketball, volleyball and cheerleading squads are a few of the fun activities at the private school.
Parents say the academy provides a wonderful education for their children and that the teachers work hard to push their students. In recent years, Buford Road Christian Academy was given the Best of Richmond award in the religious schools category, led by the U.S. Local Business Association.

My children have done so well at this school. Three of mine have graduated and I have one more left to graduate. They feel the love from the teachers and staff members. It is neat how they can combine multi-grade levels in one classroom. I strongly recommend this school.
