The new school was completed in 2019, and families were excited their children didn't have to move far to be a part of the growing community. Reams Elementary School was built on the same grounds as the original school constructed five decades ago. Reams Elementary School is a celebrated member of the highly ranked Chesterfield School System. The school district is applauded for its ability to use the latest technology as a tool to enhance student learning. Rams are proud to be the home of the Rams! Close to 750 students, in pre-k-through 5th grade, walk through the front door everyday. The new school houses the latest technological advancements; security cameras, motion sensors, touch-less restrooms, and water bottle stations are a few of the upgrades. Reams Elementary also boasts interactive monitors and dedicated wifi in all of its classrooms. The school's curriculum features STEAM-based classes, advanced placement, and language courses. Gym class combines exercise with health and wellness lessons. Outside, beautifully manicured sports fields and colorful playgrounds surround Reams Elementary. The Rams are encouraged to join a sports team or participate in one of the many extra-curricular clubs on campus, including Robotics, Kids Run RVA and Safety Squad.
