GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My favorite professor is the language teacher. She is very fun and treats everyone as equals. Ms. Jackson was my favorite english teacher. Her class was difficult but not to the point that no one could do it. She forced people to work hard and get good grades

Students are not allowed to wear tank tops with straps less than two fingers in width, although that is not followed strictly. We are also not allowed to have shorts or skirts shorter than mid-thigh and that is more strictly enforced. The principal is very involved in all of the students lives, along with the guidance counselor and office staff. It is easy to go into their offices and have a normal conversation with them about anything. Our middle school had issues with bullying, but it has gotten so much better than before. I don't usually see anyone bullying another person. We are a very close knit school. And as for attendance, it is important to be on time. If you are tardy with an unexcused absence you miss out on extra curricular activities.

It's been a few years since I attended, but with the University in town, this little school has and does offer some unique advantages.

They all enjoyed their time here with the extra opportunities of teams that have won state championships, music festivals, stage band, and the annual musical. They were all challenged academically and s...

Great school! Middle-school teachers are genuinely interested in helping students learn to love exploration. Teachers and administrators have both shown me a commitment to developing good communication with parents.
