Throughout my time at Oakdale, I have had plenty of experiences that have allowed me to grow academically and extracurricularly. There is a wide variety of advanced classes available, and the majority of the teachers are amazing. Additionally, there are so many clubs to choose from, and you can always start your own too. However, the cafeteria food could use some improvement to make it healthier with more variety.

I believe my school has a lot of resources, and great preparation for careers and college. I think there is always work to do to improve our student body, especially in terms of how peers treat each other and discrimination. However, I am very fortunate and privileged to go to Oakdale High School.

Overall the community of Oakdale is amazing. A lot of the teachers are very supportive and are willing to help students out. There are lots of opportunities to get extra help an example being bear den which is an after school program that helps students finish assignments and also get help from teachers in many different subjects. The student community is good as well but it could use some work. There have been a few fights in our school and there is always drama. Overall the education is very good as well as the teachers and administrators. The school spirit is very exciting and I am proud to be apart of that school.

They made me feel comfortable and not scared to speak up. I have now graduated from UMD with a degree in engineering. It is all thanks to the knowle...

The school has a fantastic facility, but the honors courses (at least in the lower grades, not AP courses) have students far below the honors level in them, this is affecting learning at the higher, college prep level.

Oakdale is a really nice school and the athletics program is pretty good. However, many of the students there seem to have a problem accepting new students. I started attending Oakdale not that long ago and I don't have many friends. I guess it's because almost everyone has known each other since el...
