I have two kids at Emerson and being part of the community there has been a total life-changer for us. Sweet, diverse, families. Dedicated staff who are relatively stable. It's a place where kids are generally happy and excited to learn, and staff treat kids and families with love and respect.

Emerson is a gem of a school. The gifted teachers and staff (many with long tenure) are at the core of this. Bullying is rampant at this school. Kids curse each other out and many kids use racial slurs. In general, the older boys have already begun macho postering and are overtly aggressive when playing games.
