I love the small school environment, everyone knows everyone(you have to!) The teachers are super friendly and very supportive you can tell they really do care about the kids. I love to see the staff out getting the kids in the morning on their way in always with a smile. The kids are great they look out for eachother, we've met a lot of parents as well everyone is very welcoming.

McClymonds is a small school which makes it feel like a family, but gossip spreads very fast. The teachers don't help you when you ask but will send you out for being off task. The boys are treated differently from the girls. They can walk around with no shirts on and no one will say anything. If a girl's jeans are too ripped they will be dress code.

McClymonds has had very little teacher turn over in the last few years which is very unusual for OUSD. We are a group of diverse and dedicated teachers who are united in their passion to help students succeed as young adults. There are so many opportunities for students -- maker space, interships, l...
